Having studied and graduated with a BA in Art History from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, Anna currently lives and works in London dividing her time between painting and teaching Art.
Her work explores the play between form and space, force and subtlety with a nod towards mid-century Abstraction and Abstract Expressionism. Using colours observed directly from nature Anna strips back the visual elements leaving only the essential conveyed through gestural marks each evoking the ebb and flow of energy. Her compositions employ a mix of intuition and conscious decision making about balance with each mark revealing influences of architectural spaces, Japanese aesthetics and graphic design.
Her fascination of negative spaces and the Zen philosophy of ‘Ma’, meaning ‘gap’ or ‘pause’ is explored through the use white space. Anna searches for a visual equilibrium and minimalist beauty which resonates on a non-verbal level.

Q: How quickly will I receive my art?
A: We aim to ship all art within 7 days of order, then it will take 1-3 days to be delivered, depending on the location. If it’s super urgent then contact us and we’ll see if we can speed this up, depending on whether it’s one of our collection or held by one of our artists.
Q: Can I return the art for any reason?
A: Yes, we have 100% return guarantee if you can return the piece to us within 14 days (from the date you received it). If you have any doubts when it first arrives, we suggest you keep the original packaging for a few days as this will make it easier to repack and return if you need to.
Q: What do I do if I want to return the art?
A: E-mail us at CustomerService@BeauSala.com and we arrange to collect the art (at our cost) and upon receipt of the art we will 100% reimburse you for the original cost, including the initial delivery charge.
Q: What if the art arrives damaged?
A: While this has not happened so far, if it does occur then we just ask you to take a photo and email us. Then we will arrange to collect the piece under our 100% return guarantee and you will be reimbursed.
Q: Why is delivery an additional charge?
A: Art comes in an infinite range of sizes, weights and formats so delivery charges need to be bespoke. More importantly, the value of any specific art piece at a given time should be 100% based on the art itself rather than any logistics over its life
Q: How is the delivery charge calculated?
A: It is based on the estimate by the artist, who packs and arranges delivery to you directly (except for any pieces directly held in our own collection)
Q: I need the art to be delivered internationally. How does this affect the price?
A: The two aspects are delivery cost and tax. Delivery will be quoted by the artist but may need a separate request (e-mail us on CustomerService@BeauSala.com and we will contact the artist). Any tax or custom fees are assessed in the destination country so will need you to contact the local customs office if you have any concerns. As they are beyond our control, any additional tax or custom charges are not included in the checkout price and are not refundable in the event of a return.
Q: Why don’t you ask for registration?
A: We dislike being asked to fill out time consuming forms ourselves so we don’t ask you to. But if you’d like to be alerted of new work added to our site and/or would like early invites to future offers and events, simply give us your email address and stay tuned (we only hold your data with your permission, do not share it with others and we adhere to GDPR rules)
Q: How do you select your art?
A: We have contacts with artists, art colleges and other gallerists and as collectors over many years we apply our own experience and taste when selecting. Art is emotional, it’s special and it deserves active curating rather than unedited listing.
Q: How do you verify the authenticity?
A: As well as artist signatures, we have direct and personal contact (not automated) with our artists and often see the work in person first. Our aim to accompany each painting with a video also adds further significant verification rarely seen elsewhere
